Dilemmas Of Democracy: Balancing Friendship and Country

A few days ago my friends and I were supposed to go to the new barbi movie. My friends bailed on me to go to the demonstration against the government reform. Those demonstrations have been happening for many weeks now as the Israeli government is trying to gain control over the Supreme Court.

This is a big threat to the democracy and the stability of the country as it is currently divided into two different points of view which not only causes a feud within Israel but also gives the impression to our enemy countries weakness. I don’t know if I should be mad at her for bailing on me or forgive and support her for her support for the country.
